1957 StudebakerThe Hawk line was reduced to two basic models in 1957, the Golden Hawk and the Silver Hawk. The Golden Hawk was now powered by a supercharged version of Studebaker’s 289 cubic inch V8 engine. The Silver Hawk replaced the previous year’s Power and Flight Hawk models.

Styling changes included the addition of tail fins to both Hawk models and a revised hood, deck lid, and tail lights. In April of 1957, the luxurious Golden Hawk “400” debuted, which featured special paint, a full leather interior, and an upholstered luggage compartment.
