Wright saw the rise of the automobile as a transformative force—one that enabled greater connection to the natural world while reflecting the same principles of form\, function\, and beauty that defined his architectural philosophy. \nLed by Brandon J. Anderson\, Executive Director & CEO of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum\, this presentation examines Wright’s lifelong fascination with automobiles\, highlighting both his personal experiences and the influence of automotive design on his broader creative vision. \nAttendees will gain insight into Wright’s admiration for the Cord L-29—a vehicle he praised for its harmonious proportions and logical beauty—as well as his ownership of other distinguished marques\, including Bentley\, Jaguar\, Packard\, Cadillac\, and Mercedes-Benz. \nABOUT SPEAKER SERIES\nThe Studebaker Museum Speaker Series\, presented by the Campisi Family Education Fund\, is held in the Wiekamp Auditorium. Regular Speaker Series admission is $2. Regular admission fees apply to tour the Studebaker National Museum and The History Museum. Studebaker National Museum and Campus members are admitted free!
