Wright saw the rise of the automobile as a transformative force\u2014one that enabled greater connection to the natural world while reflecting the same principles of form, function, and beauty that defined his architectural philosophy.&nbsp; Attendees will gain insight into Wright\u2019s admiration for the Cord L-29\u2014a vehicle he praised for its harmonious proportions and logical beauty\u2014as well as his ownership of other distinguished marques, including Bentley, Jaguar, Packard, Cadillac, and Mercedes-Benz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Led by Brandon J. Anderson, Executive Director &amp; CEO of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, this presentation examines Wright\u2019s lifelong fascination with automobiles, highlighting both his personal experiences and the influence of automotive design on his broader creative vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ABOUT SPEAKER SERIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.studebakermuseum.org\/archives-and-education\/speaker-series\/\">Studebaker Speaker Series<\/a>, presented by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.studebakermuseum.org\/support\/endowment\/\">Campisi Family Education Fund<\/a>, is held in the Wiekamp Auditorium.
